Digital Art + Drones Coding Camp

Embark on a thrilling journey at our Digital Arts and Coding Autonomous Drones Camp brought to you by DigiKidz Academy and Nova Labs this summer! With a perfect blend of artistic expression and technical innovation, this camp offers an inspiring and hands-on experience for aspiring artists and tech enthusiasts alike.

Digital Art Sessions:
Campers will learn Photoshop Elements and its features including file management, layers, drawing, editing, object selecting, basic coloring, and more. They'll enhance their proficiency with digital drawing tablets through engaging exercises and games. The week culminates in a Personal Project where campers craft their first digital art based on their favorite character!

Equipped with ASUS gaming laptops featuring dedicated graphics cards and ASUS Pro-Art 27" monitors, students will utilize Adobe Photoshop Elements, an ideal introduction to various drawing platforms and a simplified version of the industry-standard Photoshop.

Each camper will receive a printed version of their personal project and a certificate of completion and evaluation, with digital files emailed to parents. Selected works may also be showcased on our website, social media platforms, or even as posters!

Coding Autonomous Drones Session:
FPV Drones Session offers an engaging introduction to drone technology and coding. Campers will explore applications of drone technology, understand relevant drone regulations and basic concepts of manual and coded flight. Using real world scenarios, campers will apply problem solving, teamwork, coding and drone piloting to solve their missions. Campers will pilot FPV drones using beginner-friendly block-coding software. No previous coding experience is required, making this an ideal starting point for students to explore the thrilling world of drones.

Nova Labs will provide computers and drone units. Campers are not required to bring their own devides.

• Transportation between DigiKidz and Nova Labs will be provided by DigiKidz. Parents will drop off and pick up the campers at DigiKidz.
