Terms and Conditions
> Student Behavior Expectations and Liabilities
- All students and guests who attend DigiKidz Academy should be respectful of others at all times. We will not tolerate spiteful ridicule of another student's work, appearance or anything which makes another student feel disparaged or alienated. If a student behaves in such a manner to disrupt the class or another student's learning, they will be given a warning and parents or guardian will be notified with details. DigiKidz Academy reserves the right to expel the student with behavior issue from our program.
- All students and guests of DigiKidz Academy are expected to respect the facility and equipment. Should a student cause intentional or unintentional damage to equipment or the building, parents and/or guardians of the student(s) can/will be held liable for the damages.
- Parents are responsible for notifying DigiKidz Academy if a student has any special needs or considerations for instruction. In some cases, DigiKidz Academy reserves the right to ask a Parent or responsible guardian to provide emergency contact information and/or stay with the class until everyone can assess the student's suitability for the program.
> Absences and Making up for Missed Classes
- Parents need to report absences for their child(ren) and schedule makeup classes ahead of time.
- All absences need to be reported a minimum 24 hours prior to the class start time in order to schedule makeup session for the missed class.
- Makeup sessions need to be scheduled within 3 months from the date of the missing class. Expired makeup sessions cannot be refunded or credited.
- Absences without advanced reporting/notification cannot be made up, refunded or credited.
- If DigiKidz Academy is closed due the inclement weather or other emergencies, the missed classes will be reported by our staff as absences. Parents may contact DigiKidz staff to schedule a makeup session.
- For repeat no-shows to registered free events, like workshops, DigiKidz Academy reserves the right to cancel future registrations. Because seats are limited, anyone who chooses to reserve a space through registration takes away another opportunity for other learners. If you register for an event, we appreciate your honesty in attending. If you can not attend, please let us know so we can make a space available for other students.
