Digital Art + Beat Making Camp

Ignite your creativity with a multi-themed, fun-infused camp brought to you by DigiKidz Academy and Bach to Rock this summer! This one-week, full-day summer camp features an exciting blend of digital arts fundamentals and introductory beat making for beginners.

Digital Art Sessions:
Campers will learn Photoshop Elements and its features including file management, layers, drawing, editing, object selecting, basic coloring, and more. They'll enhance their proficiency with digital drawing tablets through engaging exercises and games. The week culminates in a Personal Project where campers craft their first digital art based on their favorite character!

Equipped with ASUS gaming laptops featuring dedicated graphics cards and ASUS Pro-Art 27" monitors, students will utilize Adobe Photoshop Elements, an ideal introduction to various drawing platforms and a simplified version of the industry-standard Photoshop.

Each camper will receive a printed version of their personal project and a certificate of completion and evaluation, with digital files emailed to parents. Selected works may also be showcased on our website, social media platforms, or even as posters!

Beat Making Sessions:
Beat Making sessions offers a beginner-friendly entry point to the world of DJing and music production. Campers learn how to make their own music using BandLab for Education.

These seesions are a great way to get started with DJing. Beginner DJs can harness BandLab for Education to create their own beats and start crafting hit songs. We’ll show you how to create your own loops, beats, and samples.

With these basic skills, you can start making beats for dance, house, hip-hop, and trance tracks — plus countless other genres. By the end of the camp, each student will present their first beat to the class!

Note: We'll provide basic headsets for the camp. Participants are welcome to bring their own headsets.
