Rock the Arts Camp

Join DigiKidz Academy and Vanguard Arts Center for an exciting, multi-themed, fun-filled summer camp! This one week, full-day (9–5) Rock the Arts camp builds confidence and real skills for creative kids who love both music and art. They’ll try new instruments, jam with friends, and learn digital illustration, then share it all in a band performance and art showcase at the end. Limited spots—book now!

 

 

• Digital Art Sessions:

 

Campers will learn Photoshop and its features including file management, layers, drawing, editing, object selecting, basic coloring, and more. They'll enhance their proficiency with digital drawing tablets through engaging exercises and games. The week culminates in a Personal Project where campers present their digital art project to the class!

 

Equipped with ASUS gaming laptops featuring dedicated graphics cards and ASUS Pro-Art 27" monitors, students will utilize Adobe Photoshop Elements, an ideal introduction to various drawing platforms and a simplified version of the industry-standard Photoshop.

Each camper will receive a printed version of their personal project and a certificate of completion and evaluation, with digital files emailed to parents. Selected works may also be showcased on our website, social media platforms, or even as posters!

• Rockstar Sessions:

 

At Vanguard Arts Center, kids will get to jam out with their friends on drums, guitars and keyboard, and even sing if they want to! With help from Vanguard's expert instructors, campers will be shown the basics of the instruments they want to play, and learn some riffs, chord progressions and beats from well known rock and pop tunes.

 

 

This is a great introductory program for any young person who's always wanted to play but never had the opportunity. Campers with previous musical experience can take the opportunity to get further instruction and hone their skills on the Vanguard stage!

Instruments will be provided to all campers. Campers are not required to bring their own instrument.

• Limited seats. No more than 9 students per camp.
• Recommended Minimum Age: 8
• Date and Time: 7/20-7/24/2026, 9AM-5PM
• Transportation between DigiKidz and Vanguard Arts Center will be provided by DigiKidz. Parents will drop off and pick up the campers at DigiKidz Academy.
• Lunch is NOT provided. Small snacks, drinks and water are provided, but please pack a lunch for your student to bring to the camp.
• Group discount available upon request.
• Note: if a camp does not have sufficient signups, the camp may be canceled. Or participants may be moved to a camp that has sufficient signups upon participants' agreement.
